Our Story
HOW IT ALL STARTED
My mom and I started HOT JIANG® to share our culture and connect people worldwide through their love for spice. It all began when she taught me how to make Little Pot Rice Noodle (小锅米線), my favorite childhood dish and a Yunnan specialty, during the filming of Netflix’s Bling Empire. She revealed that she uses a secret family chili oil recipe that had been passed down for generations to make this and many other dishes.
I grew up loving all spicy food but still crave her cooking, never finding anything that tasted like it, especially convenient and healthy food options.
We realized there was an absence of Yunnan cuisine in the market, inspiring us to share our Yunnan recipes with the world. We welcome you to the HOT JIANG® fam and can’t wait to share more!
