Crispy Rice Paper Sushi Rolls

INGREDIENTS

Rice paper

Nori sheet

14 oz extra firm tofu

3 Tbsp. Hot Jiang chili oil

1 carrot, julienned

2 Japanese cucumber, julienned

1 avocado, sliced

2 cup cooked sushi rice

Kewpie mayo

Sesame seed

Soy sauce and Hot Jiang® chili oil for serving

DIRECTIONS

Slice the tofu into 1/4 inch pieces and pan fry over high heat until crispy. When both sides are golden brown, glaze the tofu with Hot Jiang®.

Dip rice paper in water, place on a surface and top with seasoned tofu, rice, nori, veggies, and mayo drizzle.

Roll the top and bottom and tuck the sides underneath the rice paper sushi roll.

On a clean dry plate, sprinkle some sesame seeds and roll the rice paper rolls to coat.

In a nonstick pan, heat some oil and pan fry the rolls for about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Serve with soy sauce and Hot Jiang® chili oil dipping sauce.
