Savor the authentic tastes of Kunming with these dry noodles, featuring a delightful mix of rice noodles, succulent beef, aromatic herbs, and spices, all elevated by the signature heat of HOT JIANG® chili oil.
Kunming Dry Noodles
8 oz rice noodle
4 oz beef or protein of your choice
1 Tbsp. - xiao xing wine
1 Tbsp. pepper paste (gochujang)
1 tsp. minced garlic
4 Tbsp. pickled mustard greens
1 Tbsp. Hot Jiang® chili oil
2 Tbsp. minced green onion
1/2 cup chopped 1” chives
1 Tbsp. ginger
1 Tbsp. minced ginger
2.5t Tbsp. Chinese vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 cup water
Bring water to a boil and add the rice noodles. Boil for 10 minutes then leave the noodles sitting in the water for 15 minutes.
Cook protein with xiao xing wine, pepper paste, minced garlic, pickled mustard greens, Hot Jiang® chili oil, green onions, and chives.
Add oil and sugar and cook until browned before adding ½ cup of water and soy sauce to make ginger garlic water.
Assemble noodles, protein, and the ginger garlic water in a bowl. Garnish with chives, green onion, and cilantro.
