INGREDIENTS

2 cups cooked long-grain, day-old rice

3 Tbsp. vegetable oil

1 head garlic, minced

1 Tbsp. Hot Jiang® chili oil

2 Tbsp. chopped green onions

DIRECTIONS

Heat a wok or a large skillet over medium heat. Add the vegetable oil and allow it to heat up.

Once the oil is hot, add the minced garlic. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes or until the garlic becomes fragrant and slightly golden. Be careful not to burn it.

Remove the garlic and set aside.

Add the cooled, cooked rice to the wok, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Add back in half the fried garlic, chili oil and green onions. Stir-fry the rice, ensuring that the rice is well coated with the flavors from the garlic and chili oil.

Remove the wok from heat and transfer the fried rice to a serving dish.

Garnish the fried rice with extra toasted garlic and Hot Jiang® chili oil.
